Alex has created several animated explainer videos for business and government. She creates the original visual concepts through to illustrations and edited videos ready for Socials. Alex captures her illustrations using the timelapse function in Adobe Fresco and combines these with other animation styles, video and photography to create engaging and original pieces.
ShopsSpots is a celebration of 12 unique businesses in Newcastle, another initiative delivered under your Special Business Rate Program. Alex created all illustrations and video editing.

Alex was engaged by the University of Newcastle to create a video celebrating resilience stories during the COVID period.
Story Spots project is a series of interviews with Newcastle residents celebrating the places with which they feel most connected. Created by Sketch It Live and Story Spot, supported by Curious Legends, funded by Made.In.Newcastle.
Alex was engaged by Curious Legends to create animated visuals for the Riverlights Festival in Maitland.
The Centre for Educational Research at Western Sydney University commissioned Alex to create the Georgie the Geographer series for the Flooding in Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley Schools Project. The work included character design, illustration, animation and editing. Primary school teachers use these resources in their geography lessons.
The City of Newcastle engaged Alex and Karen Eastwood from Story Spot to create an explainer video for the community to get engaged with the local character study.
